LITTLE STEVIE AND THE BUSINESS printable biog page 1

This incarnation of the Little Stevie sound have been playing together solidly for three years now and have been making a big impact on big crowds wherever they've performed. Great Rhythm and Blues sounds, delivered with some great showmanship from Stevie with his superb harmonica and the bands all-round powerful sound, making these guy's a band not to be missed!

The band incorporates a mixture of music styles and sounds but the main aim of the band is to keep all the numbers they play, very up tempo and very energetic.

'Seconds Out - Round Two" is the name of their latest CD.

"This time we've pushed the boat out and written some of our own material" says Stevie. "It has six covers and six original tracks and we're very pleased with the end result"

This isn't a band that gets on stage and plays for themselves. Anybody that has seen little Stevie will tell you that he connects with the audience and has great stage presence.

Always ready to demonstrate his skills on harmonica. rhythm guitar. vocals and tambourine, as well as bursting into the odd Mick Jagger impersonation. (recently demonstrated to Jerry Hall who surprised the band by turning up to a gig and danced to a Stones cover!) Stevie usually has the audience captivated and wondering what he's going to do next.

The other band members are john Gingel on guitar, Phil Shepherd on upright and electric bass and Mel Davis on drums.

John on guitar is always ready to surprise. with his versatile playing style and cheeky sense of humour, you're never sure what sounds he's going to come up with next.

Looking after the low notes is Phil Shepherd on doghouse and fretless bass, providing a good solid link with the drums to give one of the tightest rhythm sections you're likely to hear.

Mel Davis on drums completes the line up. with his worrying sense of humour and wearing an insane grin throughout every performance. he delivers a solid sound relying on his many years of playing experience.
